Recipe of The Month - April 2011

Traditional Chinese Medicine has always encouraged eating foods that are appropriate for the season. Sprouts represent the greatest vitality of the life cycle of a plant because the vitamin and enzyme content increases so dramatically at this time. So, why not try something new, and add in the raw food delight of sprouts this spring!

Using sprouts in this hummus dip is a great way to get more nutrients out of a easily prepared dish. This recipe is from The Sprout People website where they have the wildest selection of sprouts out there!

I ordered the mama support sprout kit. I am having a ton of fun experimenting with it. They carry affordable and super easy ways to sprout at home.

To resonate with the seasons this spring time, try taking in the fresh nutrients we were meant to, by going to their website to getting your sprout on!
