Having never tried acupuncture before, a friend of mine referred me to Lara at PDX Acupuncture. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable my first appointment was. Lara is very friendly and knowledgeable. I quickly learned how much acupuncture could improve my overall health. Lara does an excellent job informing and counseling me on my health; suggesting dietary changes and herbal supplements, as well as answering all of my questions. The treatments are very relaxing and I always leave feeling fantastic! I've been seeing Lara for almost a year, and my health has greatly improved since starting my treatments. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an acupuncturist.

I would highly recommend Lara for acupuncture. I went to her to seek relief from chronic back pain and stomach issues. She was very receptive and listened to all of the symptoms and while I wasn't really expecting to find relief from my stomach issues, she was able to diagnose and resolve the stomach issues while helping with the back pain. I also had an additional surprise while we were discussing my issues I mentioned that I was recently diagnosed with an elevated glucose and Lara mentioned that she has background in Diabetes so we've been working on resolving that as well. Truly a one-stop shop and I really appreciate her caring, nurturing personality as well as her enthusiasm to help. It has been a very good experience and I would recommend her to anyone looking for acupuncture.

I had slipped a disc playing flag football and I was in excruciating pain. I had tried some stretching, chiropractic's and yoga to relieve the pain. It wasn't until I saw Lara at PDX Acupuncture that I felt significant pain relief. I was skeptical because I had never had acupuncture and I wasn't a huge fan of needles. In less than an hour, I already felt better. Once I combined all the treatments for a a couple weeks, my back healed and I was back on my feet.

Yes, this article is true. You helped me to recover and I really appreciate that. Sorry for being out of touch so long... I'm still not totally 100% but I could tell a big difference when I started getting acupuncture. I think the only delay in healing back to "normal" is that I still continue to race which sometime aggravates the intercostals. All in all I am happy with the results and services you have provided thus far. I continue to improve and the anxiety from the injury has subsided.

I cannot tell you how beneficial my treatment was on Friday. It was interesting because my body responded immediately and by the next day much of the tension in my neck had diminished.
